Well, lets hope so, because that’s what’s going down in just a few weeks at the 35th anniversary of The Best Party Anywhere! The Buffalo Chip just added over a dozen more bands to its legendary lineup. If you wanna know who they are, you’d better click through.

In case you hadn’t noticed, this year is the 35th anniversary of The Best Party Anywhere! So put down any misguided ideas you have of exploring some average vacation elsewhere, and pick up the well-aged, savor-every-minute, good-for-the-soul, fun-soaked moments you’ll have at the Chip’s 35th anniversary concerts during the 2016 Sturgis Motorcycle Rally. Drake White and the Big Fire

Unearthly melodies and blistering blues guitar licks will fill the August air when The Electric Reverend, Jimmie Bratcher, descends upon The Best Party Anywhere® to usher in the biggest kick off party in Buffalo Chip history. After thrilling audiences on the Buffalo Chip’s showcase stages for years, Bratcher will bring his boundless blues to the legendaryWolfman Jack Stage for the very first time prior to performances from the legendary Willie Nelson and Drake White and the Big Fire.

Prepare yourself for a boundary-smashing, unforgettable performance that only a true expert rock band can stage. You can try to bar the door, but there will be no stopping them when 3 Doors Down return after a more than a decade to rock the Sturgis Buffalo Chip®‘s August music festival into oblivion.

All the Metallica songs you know and love are going to rip your face off and leave the layers of skin squirming around on the ground when ONE – The Only Tribute To Metallica hits theWolfman Jack Stage prior to 3 Doors Down.
Be prepared to have your face rocked off when New York-based powerhouse four piece Midnight Mob opens up for 3 Doors Down on the Wolfman Jack Stage at the Sturgis Buffalo Chip® music festival Saturday, Aug. 6. With a sound that combines punk, metal, blues, hard rock and soul, Midnight Mob will leave you wanting more. And, lucky for you, you’ll be able to get a second rock ‘n’ roll beat down at the Midnight Mob midnight show on the Kinison Stage on Sunday, Aug. 7 following Kid Rock’s main stage performance!

Prepare for a performance that cranks up the distortion so far you’ll lose all sense of what’s real when The Grizzled Mighty roars into the Largest Music Festival in Motorcycling™ this August. This two-piece powerhouse from Seattle will fill the Legendary Sturgis Buffalo Chip® amphitheater with a psychedelic Southern-rock sound that delivers as much grit as it does groove prior to Cheap Trick and Texas Hippie Coalition.
Five Finger Death Punch
Prepare to be pummeled by a merciless mixture of fierce metallic grooves and aggressively catchy melodies when Five Finger Death Punch returns to annihilate audiences at the Sturgis Buffalo Chip’s 35th annual August music festival. The Las Vegas heavy metallers will bring an adrenaline-packed evening to a climax from the legendary Wolfman Jack Stagefollowing the Chip’s Moto Stampede event series.
Reverend Horton Heat
Anybody who’s ever been to the Sturgis Buffalo Chip’s August music festival can attest to South Dakota’s toasty summer nights, but it’s going to go from toasty to incendiary when rockabilly legends Reverend Horton Heat burn up the Wolfman Jack Stage. The Dallas, Texas-based trio will make their Sturgis Buffalo Chip performance debut this August as part of the Moto Stampede event series, and you’d better have your fire extinguisher handy when they do.
Rub your eyes and get ready to pinch yourself because when Low Volts takes the Wolfman Jack Stage you will not believe what you are seeing or hearing. The one-man grimy blues-rock tour de force opens for rockabilly legends Reverend Horton Heat and heavy metal megastars Five Finger Death Punch right after Roland Sands Design’s Super Hooligan races as part of the Buffalo Chip’s Moto Stampede event series.
Let freedom ring with a night of all-American anthems from the hottest vocalist in country rock music! Miranda Lambert will be bringing a performance that burns hotter than kerosene to heat up the legendary Wolfman Jack Stage during Sturgis Buffalo Chip’s annual Freedom Celebration.
Get ready for a no-holds-barred rock and roll party that’ll spin your head ‘round and ‘round when Ratt brings their melodic hair metal to a massive evening of entertainment and military tributes, joining Miranda Lambert and Stolen Rhodes to create an unforgettable night. The Los Angeles hard rockers will jnfest the Wolfman Jack Stage Thursday Aug. 11.

The New Jersey quartet will take on crowds at the showcase stages Tuesday, Aug. 9 and Wednesday, Aug. 10 before joiningMiranda Lambert and Ratt on the Wolfman Jack Stage to kick off Freedom Celebration events in the amphitheater.
If you are lookin’ to get “Lit Up” this summer, then get ready for Buckcherry to blast its way back into the Buffalo Chip concert lineup during the 2016 Sturgis Motorcycle Rally. These seductively slithering rockers will be coming at you with the crushing chords and familiar refrains of songs like “Crazy Bitch”, as well as tracks from their 2016 album “Rock ‘n’ Roll” when they take to the Wolfman Jack Stage right after Pop Evil.
Brace yourselves– Pop Evil will be hitting audiences over the head with a rock and roll performance heavier than all the steel in a Detroit assembly plant. You can duck and cover, but when the Michigan quintet takes the Wolfman Jack Stage prior to Buckcherry, they’ll leave nothing but a crater in their wake.
Let the music take over as Sweet Cyanide’s cocktail of dark glam rock courses through your veins during the Buffalo Chip’s 20165 August music festival! These New York City hard rockers and Chip fan favorites are joining the legendary lineup of Sturgis concerts to get your blood pumping on the Chip’s showcase stages throughout the Sturgis Rally before taking to the main stage to open for headlining performers Buckcherry and Pop Evil.
Few things are more American than the U.S. military and rock ‘n’ roll music. During the Buffalo Chip’s third annual Freedom Celebration Ride you’ll experience both at the same time with multiple performances from SGT Rock!
“Weird Al” Yankovic
Things are going to take a turn for the weird when one of the best-selling comedy artists of all time yuks it up at the Sturgis Buffalo Chip. “Weird Al” Yankovic will bring Mandatory Fun to the final night of the Chip’s 35th anniversary celebration with a show so ridiculous you’ll wanna put on a Hawaiian shirt, laugh till tears pour down your face and dance until your butt physically leaves your body.
Reformed Whores might not be proud of their past, but don’t be intimidated by their transformation. Why? Because the only change you’ll need to make is into a fresh pair of underwear after you wet yourself from laughing at their hilariously raunchy performances. If you only brought one pair of undies, don’t worry–Reformed Whores will be performing nightly at the Chip’s Comedy Club ,daily at the Hoyt Axton stage and opening for “Weird Al” Yankovic on the Wolfman Jack Stage, so you’ll have several opportunities to see them this during the Chip’s 35th annual August music festival if you soil yourself. The Living Deads
It’s impossible not to have a good time when The Living Deads explode onto the stage at The Best Party Anywhere®. The band’s sexy swagger grabs your attention, and its greasy, energetic and sensual rockabilly punk sound keeps it! Sultry upright bass player Symphony Tidwell, dramatic drummer Randy McKnight and their undisclosed kidnapped guitarist will knock you out when the group joins the lineup of concerts at the Sturgis Buffalo Chip.
World-class bands of all types and genres play on the Chip’s stages each year, but there’s never been another band in the lineup of concerts quite like MMS. After touring Japan for years on their Harley Panheads, this Japanese biker band fulfilled a lifelong dream by making the 5,600-mile journey from Tokyo to the Buffalo Chip to perform during the Largest Music Festival in Motorcycling™ in 2014. Now, thanks to the requests from fans like you, we’re bringing them back again in 2016!
BC and the Big Rig
Your faith in the hard-working American spirit will be renewed when you hear BC & The Big Rig blend country and rock elements with touch of folk storytelling during the Buffalo Chip’s August music festival. So once you’ve arrived for the 35th anniversary of The Best Party Anywhere®, head to the showcase stages and listen to the tales of this Tulsa-based band.
Righteous riffs, ferocious fiddling and bluesy vocals will fill the August air when fusion folk-rock outfit Nicnos returns to the Buffalo Chip for the 35th anniversary of The Best Party Anywhere®. After bringing the house down as openers for Adelitas Way and WAR in 2015, this Oklahoma-based quintet is back to blow you way again on the Chip’s showcase stages.
Well Hung Heart
As a four-person outfit that packs the raw power of a 100-member marching band, Well Hung Heart are sure to turn heads on the Sturgis Buffalo Chip® showcase stages during the 2016 Sturgis Rally. In one surprising twist after another, this quartet will give you a dose of Hendrix with a nod to PJ Harvey; they’re just as comfortable channeling Nirvana as they are Leadbelly or Led Zeppelin.
If you love the melodic riffs of ‘60s rock and the grungy edge that conquered the ‘90s, you’re gonna love The Mods! This Arizona throwback band combines the best of these two eras into one rock ‘n’ roll punch after another. Transport yourself to a bygone era as this Buffalo Chip favorite rocks out throughout the Sturgis Rally on the Chip’s showcase stages!
You’ll get every ounce of party you deserve when Colossal Boss brings its intoxicating mix of in-your-face rock and melodic blues to the Chip’s summer music festival. Charlie Brechtel Band
If you’ve taken a Buffalo Chip vacation during the Sturgis Rally at the anytime within the last decade, there’s a good chance you’ve heard or at least bumped into Charlie Brechtel. “Good Time Charlie,” as fans know him, has become an important part of the Chip’s showcase experience, and his nightly performances shouldn’t be missed!
Iron Cowgirl Missy
Want living proof that life on a bike can change your life? Look no further than a performance from Iron Cowgirl Missy! Missy’s sweet Southern Rock sound will draw you in, but it’s her amazing story and tough-as-nails attitude that will keep you coming back time and time again…and don’t worry, you’ll have plenty of chances to do so during the Chip’s August music festival!
Let your inner outlaw out when Brian Grilli tears up the 35th anniversary of the Sturgis Buffalo Chip®. After bringing you two epic performances on the main stage in 2015, this Virginia country rocker will be adding a third day to this year’s residency and making the rounds of the Chip showcase stages!
Brandon Jones and the Thirsty Fish
If you’ve got an unquenchable thirst for rock and country rock, you can drink till you’ve had your fill during daily performances from Brandon Jones and the Thirsty Fish on the CrossRoads Stage. This Rapid City-based cover band will be playing all the hits you know and love throughout the Sturgis Rally at the Chip’s free-access CrossRoads destination.
The Flaunt Girls
A series of scintillating performances will leave you dazed and amazed when the Flaunt Girls take up residency at the Sturgis Buffalo Chip for the first time ever. You’re going to want to be front row center when these fiery vixens perform nightly on the Sam Kinison Stage and on Aug. 5 and 13 on the legendary Wolfman Jack Stage.
When you’re at the Largest Music Festival in Motorcycling™, it’s not unusual to feel a rumble below your feet and have flashes of bold, beautiful color catch your eye. But during performances from the Buffalo Dreamers, the pounding drumbeat and passionate pageantry you’ll experience will be so mesmerizing, it might make you forget about motorcycles for a few minutes!
Sturgis Rider® Rhythm Rockers
Feast your eyes on bold booty shaking as the Sturgis Rider Rhythm Rockers dazzle you with their sexy dance routines during the Sturgis Rally. The Buffalo Chip’s own dance troupe has been working hard all year to serve you up sass and class while shaking plenty of ass during The Best Party Anywhere®! Watch as they shake what their mamas gave them during daily performances on the Chip’s showcase stages.
In one hilarious unexpected turn after another, Dwight York will crash straight into your funny bone during the Sturgis Rally with his crude and quick one-liners. Take a load off at the Buffalo Chip Comedy Club and catch this ridiculously raunchy comic’s nightly stand up performances.
Under normal circumstances you might be turned off if a grizzly old biker sang you a song about sex toys, but after a few moments spent with the “social lubricant” known as Captain Jack, you’ll let all the dirty jokes and crude stories of Chip yesteryear slide right in. This loveable musician will again bring his quirky brand of folk blues comedy to the Chip during daily performances at the Kinsion Stage and Comedy Club, and catching at least one is mandatory if you want the true Buffalo Chip experience.
When you’re last name is Funnemann, it’s almost as if you were born to make people laugh. And when you’re an attention whore like comedian Josh Funneman, you’ll go to any length necessary to make sure those laughs never stop! After splitting sides at the Buffalo Chip Comedy Club during the 2015 Sturgis Rally, Josh will have you and your friends in stitches again in 2016 during nightly performances with Dwight York.
Dueling DJs: DJ Hulio & VIP Rob
Bumpin’ beats, original remixes and masterful mashups of your favorite songs will have you dancing your asses off until the wee hours of the morning thanks to Dueling DJs: DJ Hulio and VIP Rob. These two mix masters will be keeping your party going nightly by performing high-octane live sets throughout the Chip’s August music festival at Club Chip between and after shows on the main stage.
